Use of Unregistered Sim

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has announced to block Unregistered SIMs. Actually PTA wants to stop unregistered users from the country. PTA has published a SMS number to confirm your registered connection it also provides the information how many connections are active on your name. Simply you have to send text message contains on your CNIC card number without using "-" on 668 from your mobile. In short time you will receive SMS in which number of active SIMs are given. When people do that they found many unknown numbers are activated on their name. Now the question is that who is responsible for this? In these days headquarters of all companies including Mobilink, Ufone, Warid, Telenor and Zong are filled with people who want to block all these numbers which are not in their use. These types of action should be taken when all these companies are getting entrance in Pakistan but now it is to late to identify which person is using which number. Anyway it is very good action and it will reduce the unregistered users. It will be also helpful for security purpose and investigation will become easier to trace down the record of mobile phone users.
